FIt to be Tied using Cricut Designers Calendar

Thursday is one day closer to the three day weekend! I like that!
So I found a few minutes to pull this single page layout together--the tie and shirt collar are from Designers Calendar.
Photobucket
I cut it in white and then cut a bit of pattern paper for the tie.

I made some very simple photo mats from the scraps of paper used in the cards earlier this week. I love it when you can use almost the whole sheet of paper!

To finish it off I had a strip of paper with ties and high gloss UV printing that I put along the bottom of the paper--this came from the DCVW man stack as well. Waist not want not!!!

This could be a great layout to showcase pictures taken of the kids with dad on Father's Day before heading off to church or the next time everyone has to get all dressed up!
Hope you all have a wonderful day!

April Calendar using Cricut Easter and Cricut Designer Calendar

It’s Good Friday and I hope your Easter weekend will be filled with Family and Friends. If you have been following my blog for the past couple of months, you know I do a calendar as my first post of each month. This month I wanted to show that when you detail you die cuts it makes the world of difference.

I used chalk inks, glimmer mist, fine tip markers, and a couple of felt butterflies. I am a firm believer of a heavy hand in inking—I love the highs and lows you get. I layered two colors of green for the grass and placed the rabbit behind and used a brand for the rabbit’s eye. I cut the Easter egg with two colors. For the yellow layer I also used yellow glimmer mist to give it a little shimmer!

Come back next week to see the projects I made with and Asian Flair—since I am overseas I thought this was a great opportunity to showcase Cricut Pagoda and the Asian Cuttlebug Bundle.

Hope you have a Happy Easter!

March-Designers Calendar and Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridges

As Promised here is the Calendar I got from Tall Mouse at CHA (check tallmouse.com if you want to order)
This month I got a little more creative as March come in like a lion and out like a lamb. I used magnets to the special day call outs--
This month we have St. Pats on the 17th, then the start of Spring, Palm Sunday, and Passover. I have to start working on April as I am going to be out of the country the first couple weeks of April--I better get busy!

and here is a look at the back of one of the magnets!

And if you have not checked out the new look, new name, and amazing projects over at the now 'Everyday Cricut' go on over--they have a fresh take and an amazing amount of BLOG CANDY this week (http://www.cricutholiday.com)!!!!
Have a great Monday
