It's Magic Scrapbook Layout

Hello everyone--it's Wednesday and I have a layout for you.  It's Magic---well it's really a kit from Scrapbook Funaddicts.  I love me a good kit--when you don't have much time you can still whip out a super cute project in no time.  I always like to add a few of my own touches
For this two pager all the part are included in the kit--no cutting required!!!!

Here is the first page--I sent the big yellow star through the cuttlebug using the large dots folder.  I also used foam squares to raise all the letters of the title.  To add a bit of drama, I left the dot of the I flush with the base layout--sort of 3D.  Again everything was cut all you have to do is ink, cuttlebug, assemble, and add some adhesive!  BAMMM you have a layout!

Hope you can see the texture in the star!
Here is the second page--I sent these stars through the cuttlebug and added foam squares to the stars and the mouse heads.
This ticket pocket can be used to hold tickets, programs, tags, and any other small bits you want to keep--or you can use it as a hidden journal tag.
This kit was designed by Terri Zaelit for Scrapbook Funaddicts.

Thanks for stopping by today--make it a great one!

So Greatful.........

I love it when a plan comes together--esp when you did not have one!  Well I fell in love with this stamp set from CTMH called SO GREATFUL. It is a multi step stamp set that is perfect for the fall. I also found what I thought was the perfect paper to use from Imaginisce---guess what it was named---SO GREATFUL!  NO JOKE!  I think they are a perfect pairing!
I used a kraft card base and used the Imaginisce pumpkin paper for the large matte.
You all know I love that cord ribbon from Hobby Lobby and I also used one of the new Hobby Lobby embossing folders called leaves for the green matte.  I used foam squares to elevate the layers and add some 3D.

So this is how I did the pumpkin.  I first stamped the orange base, the brown stem which was a second gen stamp, and the green vine.  I then stamped the word overlay in versa mark ink and added dark brown embossing powder and heated it up until it became glossy! I stamped the leaf on a scrap and cut it out--mini foam squares were put on the back and then I placed the leaf to give it even more pop!

I simply love how this turened out--

Super Quick throw back gift....

So today I have such a fun throw back gift.  Do you remember making your own mix tapes?  Trying to get the songs off the radio on your boom box and giving them to that special someone--well I was in Michael's and found these great rub-on and I had these CD covers from MUJI (check it out-- amazing store).
So I made a mix CD which was so much easier with itunes than the radio ever was and used these for the cover--
I really like how it came out and it was only like 2.25 with tax all included (not the music).  I hope that someone like it!
Make it a great one-

Pink By Design Halloween Blog Hop

Hello everyone, We have having a PINK BY DESIGN blog hop today showcasing Halloween projects.  Make sure to hit all the design team because there is some AWESOME projects to see.

My project is pretty simple as my craft room is still in boxes (goal is to be up and running by Sunday!).  I really to get creative since I could not use my cricut because I have yet to find the cords to plug it in!
I love me a good treat bag!  When I saw these I knew I had to use them.  I love the name plate so you can use them as place settings at a table, gifts for guests at a party, awards for guest and the best ofs, a fun treat in a lunch box, or a cute what to use all your friends nicknames!  Martha did these and you can get them at Michales in the cake section.
The tag itself is made from a Halloween K&Company.  It is 4.5" wide and 6" long folded in half to 3".  I used two punches for the center feature.  EKSuccess did the scalloped circle (Black) and the circle(orange) is from Paper Shapers.  A few pop dots between the two layers and a bit of the hand dyed silk ribbon available at the PBD store--if you have not tried using this crinkle ribbon--run do not walk to the Pink By Design Store and purchase it!!!
Here is a close up of the stamps from the Ghostly Greetings Set.  I use two stamps (one sentiments, and one shape).
Sarah the ower and creater of Pink by Design is giving away one stamp set per blog hop--all you have to do is follow and leave a comment!  The more blogs you hope to the more chances you have to win!!

Thanks for stopping in and now it is time to had to the next stop on the hop!
Next to each name is a link to their blog--click the one next to Elizabeth and you will be there in the blink of an eye.
