No better way to kick this week of besides announcing the winners of the last two blog candies!
Winners have 10 days to claim their prizes by sending me an email to scrapguyblog@yahoo.com.  Make sure to include your mailing address.  With my travel plans for work it is taking a bit longer than usual to get all the candy in the mail as the post office is not open when I am home--as luck has it this week I am in Dallas and will be able to get caught up--so all candy winners will be getting their candy!!!!!!!!!

Love the color block design and how you spruced up the flowers in the corner. Just might have to do some sprucing myself. that's sure to use my stash ;-) TFS!

Wow-last week I broke 1400 followers!  If I hit 1500 by the time the Imagine is given away I will also be giving away a Art Philosophy Cartridge pack including all the stamps and chip board shapes, a $99 value.

Fun Fold Friday using Close to My Heart!

It's Friday!  I am sooooo ready for this weekend.  Last night I had a training appointment that kicked my butt and then worked on this project.  I am in love with the Pemberley papers from CTMH--these are a must have and can be ordered bu clicking on the button to the right.
Today I am going to give you directions on how to make a Joy Fold Card.

To start you will need to cut the following papers:
1-4 1/4" by 8 1/2" rectangle in cardstock.  Score this at 5 1/2" inches and fold.
1-3"by 8" rectangle in cardstock.  Score this at 4"
1- 4 1/8" by 5 1/2" pc of paper (multi color hexagone print above) and attach to the inside of the card
1- 2 7/8" by 4" PC of paper (light blue ground/navy fern print paper above) attach to the outside flap of the card.
2-2 7/8" by 4" PCs of paper (Navy ground print under flowers, and tan tonal print on the inside of the small flap.

Once all this is done and attached you can start you stamping or embellishing.  I always attache my small card to the large card at this time.  I try to center it corm top to bottom and about 1/2" from the edge.
The embellishing is up to you but here is what I did for this card.

I stamped a flower three times in different colors, than stamped the detail in versa mark ink then heat embossed and added gems to each to complete my spring garden.

I attached on flower at the bottom with pop dots so the outer flap had a place that would keep it closed.

Here is the card fully open

Here is a close up of the sentiment--which I love.

Supplies used:
Cream cardstock ( for the base)
Pemberley Pattern Paper x7148B (pattern paper)
Rosy Regards B1369 (stamp set used for the flowers)
Sentiment is from the exclusive stamp set in the Pemberley workshop on the go (G1033)

I hope you all have a great weekend and leave those comments for your chance to win the Cricut Imagine.
Winner for this weeks give away will be announced on Sunday!

Greatful Card

Hello Thursday!  Only one more day to go until the weekend.  I am back in Dallas after a very productive trade show--now the real work begins.  Since I did not have a Valentine, I became my own and bought myself a much needed---well wanted little something.  One more travel bag to for my collection.

Before I get to the project--make sure to leave comments on every post this month so you get the most chances to win the Cricut Imagine that I am giving away.  You also can earn more entries by posting about the give away on your blog, and if they mention you in their comment you get even more!
If you pick up my blog button and add it to your blog you get more, and if you post on any message boards and you point other here and the mention your name even more!  Stack the deck in you favor by leaving comments every day!!

Today's card was made using the Pemberley paper collection and stamps from this months feature products.

I used the cuttlebug, some nestabilities dies, ribbon, and a few gems to complete this card.

I used a kraft card base and stamped my own background.

I used the cuttlebug and my sanding block to crate the blue strip of paper and than added my fav ribbon that I get from Joann's by the spool.

I used some nestabilities dies and a sentiment stamp to create the greeting.  I did ink the edges to soften the white core of the CTMH Pemberley Paper.

I finished off the inside as well as the envelope in the same way by making corner accents to finish it off.

Make it a great one-

Good morning--I am doing a blog hop to Celebrate an anniversary of a blog--and it is all about love!

So for the next few days I, along with a number of other talented crafters will be sharing their creations.

Here is a single page layout that I made using the Pemberley collection from CTMH.  The strips are 2.5" wide and various lengths.  The solid cream blocks are meant for pictures to be added.

I wanted it to be clean with just a little bit of space for journals so I added these few lines for hand written text.

One of the stickease flowers with a resin flower center

This one I sent through my xyron and added prisim glitter at the end

This one I added gems to the center and heat embossed in clear embossing powder dragon flies--really like how it turned out.

The sentiment is from the Graphically Speaking Cricut Cartridge.  I sent the me and you through the xyron technique from above with the glitter.

Close to My Heart Pemberley Collection Card

Hello everyone from chilly Vegas--could be worse as they got snow in Dallas so I still have the better end of the stick.
Well here is a preview of my project that is posted over on Pink By Design Stamps.  I used the very wonderful Pemberley paper collection that is new to Close to My Heart.

I really love this collection--

Now remember that the give away is going on for the Imagine so every comment counts both here and over on Pink By Design Stamps.

This week I am giving away a Pemberley WorkShop on the Go.  Check out Monday's post for more details and to see what all is included in the Workshop.

I will announce last weeks winner of the Rock the Block Closet to My Heart set later today.

New Close to My Heart Products

Good Monday to all of you--I am in Vegas for a trade show for work and made this video before I left.  If you are in my CTMH club this is going to show you what you have coming this month.  There are still a couple places open if you would like to join! Just e-mail me and I will send you more information.   Trust me when I say it will be worth it once you get almost $150 in free product over the 6 months!

Sorry the video is not one of my all time hits--getting used to a new camera--new lighting-and my user error was high!  LOL.

OK let me recap the clubs for you all:

The basic CTMH club is made up of the WorkShop on the Go(WSOTG).  It has a full paper packet plus two sheets of wither white or colonial white card stock, an exclusive stamp set you can ONLY get in the WSOTG, and some sort of embellishment.  The WSOTG also comes with a workshop guide with step by step instructions for a double page layout.  I use the workshop guides over and over with different papers.

In the upgrade Club you get all the above plus at least one additional stamp set, another embellishment or two, a free stamp of the month, and a discount on additional product purchased!

For February the feature is Pemberley here is what the club members will get
Pimberley WorkShop on the Go (G1033)
Love Clusters Stamp set that works with the Art Philosophy cartridge (C1484)
Pemberley Stickease (X7148C)
Bitty Sparkles (Z1263)
Stamp of the Month Thoughtful Tidings (6 cuts work with the Art Philosophy cartridge) FREE!!!

Well I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the new product.  I will be using it all week in my projects that include cards, a layout, as well as a fun fold project for Friday!!

Make it a great one-

Fun Fold Friday

So it is finally Friday!  This week was killer and next week is already starting--lol!  Off to Vegas for a trade show next week so I have been busy making projects for next week.

Today is the first Fun Fold Friday and to kick it off I went back to my videos and found one of my most popular projects the exploding box.  I left all the embellishments off so you can see the base of the box.

In the coming weeks I will share cards, scrapbook layout out elements, and of course more boxes.  I will usually show a finished item and then do a generic how to video so you can see how to put it together with out having to fight a ton of embellishments or patterned paper.

Alright-last day to leave comments for the CTMH rock the block package for this week.  I am caught up on all the comments for the Imagine so keep them coming.

Tonight is also a stamp release for Pink By Design--make sure to stop by the ustream tonight--all the details are on the website--just click here
