Hi all--hope your week has been great. My had a bright spot--got on an earlier flight home from NYC and was able to have a few hours and a good night in my own bed--
Here is an amazing place you must get to if you are in the city!!! M & J Trimming is a dream come true--walls and walls of buttons, ribbons, trims, zippers, snaps, bling on a string--I have to say I could spend hours and thousands of dollars in this place.
It is super easy to find and for me I pass it everyday while in the city because it is across from my hotel (fondly known as home away from home). The address is 1008 Sixth Ave between 38th and 39th. This company has a long history and has been around for years--top fashion designers shop here--in fact I have run into a number of my idols in this store over the years.
Walls and walls of stuff--and trust me when I say you WILL find something you will have to have!!! One block on either side of M&J Trimming's are tons of bead shops so if your coming to the city--you could plan a whole afternoon for only two blocks. So check out the link as you will see the on line store as well as tons of pics from the shop! It truly is the stuff dreams are made of!
Don't forget that Saturday is my day over at Everyday Cricut and I have a really cool Mother's Day gift to share, so make sure to check it out!
Take care-
Bryan

I'm glad you made it home and are back at it. Love your card. Mommajo
ReplyDeleteI spent a week in NYC in November with girlfriends and had a blast. We were fortunate enough to have a friend living within blocks of the park and zoo so it was so easy to walk everywhere to take the subway. There are so many more places that I'd like to see, but we just couldn't fit it all in. Maybe next trip out, I'll get a chance to check out the shops on those blocks!
ReplyDeleteSounds like that store is a great find! I love the weird quirky things for my cards!
ReplyDeleteIf I ever get there I will remember this place!
