The base wrapper is 10 1/2" inches long and 5" wide, you apply adhesive to one end and wrap around the bottle--use your adhesive to close by layering the right over the left in the back of the bottle.
You could even do this with simple pattern paper and not need any cricut cuts or embellishments! Talk about easy!
Make it a great one!
Great idea! Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteI think anyone having a Halloween party could use the poison label. Super fun!

Hey Bryan it has been so long, your link disappeared from my following list and I couldn't remember the name of your blog so couldn't come visit until I saw your post over at Everyday Cricut this morning which is great by the way.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to say a huge thank you so much for the little purse/bag you sent me from your travels awhile ago, it is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I'm heading over to everyday cricut to see more! TFS
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Wine is a great gift - love the idea of dressing it up!
ReplyDeleteThese are just awesome Bryan!! :)
ReplyDeleteI just cannot WAIT to make a poison label! I'm forever telling my kids that I added iocane powder to their meals to build up an immunity...or not (have to be a Princess Bride fan to appreciate that). Almost every meal contains a reference to poison. This will be PERFECT!! (And I'll use a non-alcoholic beverage for the kids.) Thanks so much for sharing - and for posting the measurements!
ReplyDeleteClever clever. Any hostess would love this gift. Great ideas Bryan.

Thank you Bryan for the wonderful ideas. Let the season begin.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! Fun Halloween one! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi, Bryan. This is a wonderful project. I have a brother-in-law that makes wine and he gives it to friends at holidays and throughout the year. I'm going to design some special ones for them to use. They will love them. I always enjoy your posts so I know you use your Gypsy religiously. I have a question. Do you know of any current tutorials for the "G"? I haven't really used mine in about 6 months and I couldn't even resize a rectangle for a template. I'm so lost. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Bryan, when I saw the corn that you used for the tag I suddenly thought up another idea. If you put a piece of raffia through each piece of corn, they can be double as wine glass tags, so that each person will recognize their glass by the colour or design of the tag.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, and designs. My gifts(bottles)will be wrapped with more than a ribbon in the future. Thanks for sharing ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the "Dusty Bling" thing! Cute gift ideas.
