This week has been a lot of fun. I have been working with a company on denim and twill washes for work. I actually designed my own jeans, did the washing, sanding, grinding, chemical applications, and finishing. I was really inspired and now have a million ideas rolling through my head!
Today's card is super simple--exactly what we are all looking for this time of year.
No cricut needed for this one. I used one of the new holiday Sizzix folders to emboss the green with this great plaid, kraft polka dot paper, and chocolate chip SU ribbon. My stamp is from the Recollections holiday assortment and I used chocolate CTMH ink. I highly recommend that if you buy these stamps you season them well-not the highest quality but cute.
The stamp is supposed to be distressed but I felt the coverage was spotty I had to test stamp about 15 times and this is still what I got. The inside is super cute as well. I used the same polka dot paper, white cardstock, and a CTMH stamp for the sentiment.
I did not forget the envelope! I used my last bit of scraps from my initial cut and a fiskers punch to make the tags. Added a little ink and you get a fun envelope to match up to the card.
I do hope your week is going well and the holiday stress is not getting to you. Tis the season---
I also want to give you a teaser--the new CTMH idea book comes out in Feburary and there is an AMAZING preview offer in January. My CTMH Workshop on the Go Club has been going great and another club starts in Feburary 1. The kits are $29.99 and have a full paper pack (solid and pattern 22 sheets in total) a instruction guide, embllishments (change with each kit), and an exclusive stamp set that you can only get in the kit. The club will run for 6 months and there are LIMITED spaces available so let me know if you would like to be a part. I have a ton of new things planned for club members including exclusive discounts, specials, and prizes!!! My email link is on the sidebar and I hope to hear from you soon!

Love the look of this card--all the extras including the embossing, inside of the card and envelope. I'm very impressed with the work you do in the clothing industry. Janet H

ReplyDeleteNice and simple!
ReplyDeleteI love the vintage look on cards. And you did it,your card came out beautiful.I also love the sentiment inside,it would work good on a wall too.
ReplyDeleteThe vintage look makes me think back to the Christmas seasons spent with my darling little Grandmother. Things were so much simpleer then and I remember picking wild grasses and flowers and painting them to make floral arrangements and such. We all need to have some of that kind of Christmas spirt mixed in with all the hussle and bussle of today
ReplyDeleteGreat card!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour creative abilities are endless! Really like the masculine feel of the kraft paper designs.
