OK--first let me say I had planned to have projects that were done and super cool for my scrapbook on the go theme--I took the photos, I uploaded them to photobucket, and than when I went to post them--they were not there--I must not have hit save---darn me!!!! BLASTED!!!!
So that means I had to do some quick thinking and lucky for me I packed a back up plan just in case. So since I found this out just a few hours ago-- I am going to share my NYC find and this weeks Blog Candy!!
If you are in the city and just have to buy some scrap supplies--try Portrait Bug! It is located in the upper east side at 2466 Broadway between 91st and 92nd street. There is not a huge selection of stuff--but if you are looking for embellishments about NYC this is your palce--I got just a couple sheets of paper (shocker) with silverwear on them--very cute, a mini album from Maya Road, and some clear acrylic accents that I can not wait to use. I also got a 12x12 sheet of fabric--yes fabric! It has sizing and they said it would cut in the cricut--I will have to test this one out--but I thought It was a cool idea.
So lets get to blog candy--I am not going to assign a day to each but rather every comments gets you a chance to win--it is also nice if you follow the blog!
One winner will get Anna Griffin Embellishments--perfect for any wedding album
One winner will get a scrap kit that is all about cats--so you can use that new Cricut Lite cartridge!
Two winners will get an assortment of Anna Griffin Cardstock and Text Weight paper from the Cecile Collection!
and one winner will win these two digital scrapbook CDs from Glitz!
And ONE LUCKY WINNER WILL GET THIS PEARL NECKLACE!!!
Leave those comments, tell your friends, and check back each day--this week will be about scrapbooking on the go--what you can take with you on vacation and some great place to get them!
Have a great Monday

ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win blog candy, I can't wait for your ideas on scrapping on the go. When Bazzil came out with their stitch cards I was traveling bought a few and while my husband drove down the road I designed and completed a LO using these and actually won a blue ribbon in our counties cultural arts fair. Now I always carry a 12x12 plastic envelope with a few papers and scrapping supplies, it really makes the traveling so much more enjoyable as we travel for his work not just pleasure.
ReplyDeleteI am new to scrapbooking, so I found your blog while browsing. I love to see what others are creating and it is even better when you find a giveaway for much needed goodies. I'll be back later to read more.

ReplyDeleteGuess I don't have to worry about where to shop in NYC. I have never & probably won't ever be there. What am I missing? Shame on me!! That place sounds too big and too many people for me. If I had a tour guide to tell me what to see and take me there; then I might go. Who knows? Maybe someday. Would love to win any of the blog candy.
