It's Tuesday and I have a two part video to show you. Today I cover the kit and Wednesday I will take you through the full project page by page.
Just because you have on vacation does not mean you have to leave your crafting behind. Knitter, needle pointers, and quilters can take there hobbies with them---why can't we! All you need it a kit--
Today's mini book kit is from SEI and has everything pre cut and ready to roll--
Hope you have a great day and don't forget to leave comments everyday this week for the chance to win some great blog candy!!!

Super cute kit! Love the colors in it! Still not sure I could take my crafts on the go, but seeing as my vacations are usually camping, that adds an additional twist to it. Bye! Jean
ReplyDeleteGreat kit! Thanks for the tips!
ReplyDeleteWhen I go to all day scraps, etc. I usually make up my own page kits from my stash BUT these kits-to-go look wonderful! TFS!
ReplyDeletejackie
This is a cute kit, I love the colors. I buy some kits but I also make up my own before I go depending what I am working on. We are going on vacation at the end of July so I started cutting things on my Cricut, items for embellishments, and putting them in baggies with labels on them. I will assemble the cuts on vacation and be ready to scrap and make cards when I get back. Last time we went on vacation, I took a stack of photos with me and my trimmer and corner rounder and made a list of the what type events, etc. so I knew what paper and embellishments I needed and was ready to scrap when I returned.
ReplyDeletelove to take things with me, but it's definitely not always feasible just because of the amount of stuff that's involved.. love this kit!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea, I'm going on vacation next week and might have to pick up one of these kits. Shari (cricutrookie)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I wish I could be so organized! LOL...
ReplyDeleteSupercute! Just booked our trip to Disney last night so your series is lining up perfectly to help me scrap on the go, especially since I have not completed our 2008 Disney album! Yikes, need to get it done before we leave in few weeks!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to begin scrapbooking!! Everything there with instructions....WOW. I'm a card maker, but seeing all the designs makes me think I should start scrapbooking! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement to pack a kit when I travel. Space is always an issue but this definitely cuts down on the amount of things to pack.
ReplyDeleteReally cute kit! I've never used one but considering my talent(lack of...)I probably should try one! Love your blog & so glad I've found you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I think I may have a few kits, if not then I will have to make my on for now(got laid off last week).
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and would LOVE to win the "wedding" candy. My ex daughter-in-law just got married and I'm doing an album for them as a wedding gift.
Have a Safe, Happy, and Blessed week.
This is also great for scrapbooking newbies who are overwhelmed!
ReplyDeleteAnother great video. That is an especially nice album kit and I can't wait to see it completed. Good idea about scrapping on vacation, but I may just take my knitting.
ReplyDeleteGreat video and what a coincidence! I ordered a Cosmo Cricket set online from Scrapbook Trends. It came with a 6" black scalloped-edge cardboard album from Kate's. What great Cosmo Cricket papers! - Are we There Yet, Zoom Zoom, Pit Stop, Round-a-bout, Fast Lane, Detour. Also got the Blue Line chipboard letters. Can't wait to see your next video and get started on mine!
ReplyDeleteI love SEI paper and this kit looks absolutely fabulous. Using a kit like this is a cool idea for scrapping on the go. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteI am a knitter so I always travel with a knitting project--usually something mindless so I don't have to think about it too much as I work.
I can't wait to see the finished product!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ideas!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian, I am trying to figure how I can take my Cricut in a 31' RV LOL. Guess I will have to do like you and just take a kit.

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome kit - love the colors. I can't wait to see how the finished project comes out.
ReplyDeleteI have seen these kits, but never have taken time to really see what's in them. Thanks for showing what comes in them. Whenever I am going to a crop, I usually put my own "kits" together from my own supplies so that I am not having to take my whole "stash" with me. Same idea, but with the SEI kits, the work is already done. I am going to seriously look at these kits more closely now. Thanks for showing the SEI mini album.
ReplyDeletegreat idea!
ReplyDeleteI have got some of these kits for cards and I love them I do not scrapbook much more make cards.
ReplyDeleteI do have everything in boxes for my kids and need to start doing them but just need that push maybe a kit for them would get me started.
Thanks,
Teri
Funny you posted this... I was just discussing with my husband about our vacation and how being away from my cricut for 10 days is going to be extremely sad! :o) hehe

ReplyDeleteAwesome kit!! Love all those papers and embellies!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this kit! The papers and embellies are great!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that you get all the supplies needed to make the album. You don't have to worry about finding all the matching supplies. Maybe, then, I could get an album DONE! Can't wait to see the finished project.
ReplyDeletemks
A kit like this may just be the thing for me. It seems I spend more time looking for matching supplies than it takes for me to make something. This would definitely help me.
