Happy Friday!!!! Here is a card I made for my intern who recently went back to school--Neil was the best intern I have ever had!
I used the last bit of my favorite ribbon and threaded it through a vintage suit button
the sentiment stamp is from Paper Trey Ink and papers are SEI (Oh how I love thee) Windsor collection
The bottom pattern paper is pleated to give some texture to the A2 sized card!
I also heat embossed his name on the envelope. I like to give my interns a small gift of thanks when they leave--and I have a passion for a good pen, so Neil got a lovely cross pen that I found on one of my trips overseas and when I went back I bought a few of them as I have not found this style in the US. You would be surprised as to what impression a pen can make!
Tonight the birthday book will be handed over--and Saturday I will be diving head first into crafting--I have a number of trips planned and want to make sure I have plenty to share when I can not actually craft.
Have a great weekend!

Super Simple Card and "Budget Friendly Buys" Video
Tuesday is here and I am on a plane to Chicago to meet with a customer--up and back in the same day is a killer trip but I have to finish my projects for this weekend on Everyday Cricut--LOL!
Today I have a super simple card and a fun little video which I hope you will enjoy!
First the card-

This card took 10 Minutes to make! I used a sheet of navy card stock I had on hand and cut the printed stripe paper to fit. I inked the edges and applyed to the card face with my ATG gun. I then used the Fillable Frames #1 stamp set and die from Papertrey Ink and some Ranger ink to stamp and cut the center sentiment. To jazz up the bottom, I used a Fiskers edge punch along the bottom. This was a last minute add--when this happens I mark the center of my card so I can line it up with the center of my punch, make my first punch here and work my way to the edge. This help keep the sides even (looks like my measurements were just a smidge off--goes to show no one is perfect!) A card like this is perfect when your in a pinch or a masive time curnch!
Now on to the video--I wanted to share some of my budget friendly tips with you--
Thanks for stopping in today--I have really fun card to share with you in the morning! Make it a great one!

A Big Thank You....using Cricut Songbird and a Gypsy cut file
Wow! This week is going to be crazy--as I am leaving on a business trip to Asia on Aprils Fools Day! Before the worry of the week distracts me--I wanted to send a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who left comments this weekend on Everyday Cricut and here on my blog! The response was overwhelming and more than I ever thought! I have read every comment (over 700 in all) and have taken notes of some requests for more VIDEOS!!! I hear ya and promise that in the coming weeks I will address this request!
So here is your thank you!
I used the same top note card I posted a cut file for on Saturday! This time it is much more casual!
I used Core’dinations card stock for the solid aqua blue and My Mind’s Eye pattern paper (a multi color stripe and an orange polka dot). I stamped THANKS using this month’s exclusive set of stamps from Close to My Heart (so glad they showed up on Friday!) and a button with Jillibean Soup wooly twine in chocolate!
Again Thanks a Million for the words of support and encouragement! I am so excited to be sharing with all of you! Come back on Wednesday to see haul video from Two Peas in a Bucket!
See you Wednesday!
