Typeset Card using Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Are you tired of it yet--everyday this week I have talked about it and the time is almost here.  The Close to My Heart exclusive Cricut Cartridge.  You can order it on my website at www.bryanwyatt.myctmh.com or you can email me and find out about any specials that I may have going.  I promise it is worth the money--you get the cartridge, three stamp sets, and the best chipboard I have ever worked with in shapes that match cuts from the card!
OK--today I have a card--simple yet I find myself really liking it!
Just a simple A2 that I used some of the juniper sheets of solid card stock and used a Cuttlebug folder called starts that works back to this collection nicely.  I added a strip of pattern paper from the Typeset collection.
I used a scrap of creme brulee solid paper and cut this shape with the Art Philosophy Cartridge.  I cut it larger than the stamp so I could layer it up with the Milepost shapes.  The cut is a tag and has slots to thread your ribbon through.  I distressed inked the cardboard pc before attaching with a Zig pen.
I used twill ribbon and threaded it through the tag, once I did that I used the Vintage Typeset Stamp set for the alphabet border.  I just stamped it with CTMH ink!

Well--before I sign off make sure you check out the Pink By Design Stamps Blog as we have a post every hour to celebrate one year for Pink By Design--they are also offering 30% all weekend on everything in the store!  Talk about a deal!

make it a great one!

Life Layout using Typeset Close to My Heart Collection

Happy Friday--I am sooooo ready for the weekend.  Today I have another layout (yeah two in one week) using the Typeset Paper Collection and the new Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.
Waste not want not---I used scraps of some of the pattern paper for these bits and the wooden buttons also available from CTMH are tied with the black hem which I use all the time.
My title is very simple so I can have lots of options when it comes time to add pictures to this layout.  The font is from the Art Philosophy Cartridge and I used bitty Sparkles for a little bling.  This font has a base layer and a top layer and the larger you cut the more of the bottom that shows through--these were cut at 1 1/2".

This banner is made up of 4 sections from the Milepost Shapes and three cuts from the Cricut Cartridge.  I attached them together with tiny button brads in black and a bit of black hem.  I used the Vintage Typeset Stamp set for my stamped images and heat embossed with black powder for contrast and a very cool distressed look.
Did you know that all of the new designer papers (B&T) have a pattern border that can be used on layout and cards--so there is no waste.  I used a border with the ABC's on this one--I really love this border.
You now I love my cuttlebug and there is actually a folder called typeset that goes with this collection perfectly--it is one of the larger folders so i went ahead and embossed all my photo mats (3 4x6 and 1 4x4) and inked the edges.
Well I hope you have liked the projects thus far and there are more to come.  The new Idea book will be online Monday so check it out at www.bryanwyatt.myctmh.com.  If you would like to place an order please let me know or you can place them on line on Monday.
I will be sending my club info to all members on Saturday so watch for that.  There has been such a great response that I have the opportunity to open another one--so that means there are a few places left--so if you have been thinking about it--now is your chance.  Happy to answer any questions and am positive that you will love the product and all the fun we will be having--
See ya Saturday for a card here and directions to a blog hop I am in to Celebrate Pink By Design!
Make it a great one

Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge from Close to My Heart

What a week this has been and we are only half way through.  If you knew what I did all day yesterday at work we would all be rolling on the floor laughing--now that I am done and the project is with fed ex I can laugh!  On to what I promised.
First off I want to share a layout I made using the new Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge exclusively from Close to My Heart and the new Typeset Workshop On The Go.
It is a two page layout that uses a bit of each paper and pattern from the collection.  The empty solid khaki squares are where 3x3 pictures will be placed.

Now for some close ups:

You all know I love me some cuttlebug embossing so on the solid colored paper I embossed with three different folders.  Because CTMH cardstock has a white core, I did not sad or further distress and I really like how the paper 'breaks down' once the embossing is done.
I can't get enough of a good pre-made title!  This one is from the new sticky back canvas embellishments that can be used in so many different ways.  I added a couple of stars for a bit of layering!
These are two cuts and stamps the work together in perfect harmony.  If you look closely you will see that I heat embossed the black star and pop dotted it on top of the label.  Both of these stamps are in the Workshop On The Go exclusive set.  You know I could not let an opportunity for heat embossing to pass me by! (LOL)
This is some of the corrugated cardboard with a wash of pearl paint.  I attached them with the new antique brads.
The paper 'stripes' are actually the border of the B&T pattern paper.  the zig zag is part of the sticky back canvas embellishments wrote of earlier.
Yes.......more sticky back canvas--this is just a tab but cute none the less.
The last close up is of some tickets--this is a stamp cut combo.  I love the stamp cut combos--why did someone not think of this sooner.  But you know when Close To My Heart does it, they do it right!

(products used: Cricut Art Philosophy Z1686, Milepost Shapes Z1464, Antique Copper Designer Brads Z1410, Typeset Paper X7139B, Typeset Complements Canvas Shapes Z7139C, Typeset Workshop On The Go G1024)

So here is a video showing more of the Cricut Art Philosophy Combo Pack:

Close to My Heart New Papers

Morning everyone--I know I promised videos today but my mac and youtube are fighting so after hours of trying to up load the videos I have to give up and try again on Wednesday!  I promise I will not stop until they are posted!!!
So I still wanted to show you some of the new things so lets start with the new Paper Collections--the pattern paper (B&T) have been improved--they are heavier weight and cut like a dream in the cricut!!!! I loved the paper before--and now I am hopeless!
There is a video but the next best thing is pictures-the papers are shown front and back so you get to see all 6 patterns in each group!

Typeset

ROXIE

Elemental

Dreamin'

Sonoma

Mischief

Believe

Wonderland

Wow, right!  CTMH has out done themselves on the paper this time--and for a paperaholic I had to get them all (some of them twice!)
Ok project and video on Wednesday promise---
