Pink By Design Halloween Blog Hop

Hello everyone, We have having a PINK BY DESIGN blog hop today showcasing Halloween projects.  Make sure to hit all the design team because there is some AWESOME projects to see.

My project is pretty simple as my craft room is still in boxes (goal is to be up and running by Sunday!).  I really to get creative since I could not use my cricut because I have yet to find the cords to plug it in!
I love me a good treat bag!  When I saw these I knew I had to use them.  I love the name plate so you can use them as place settings at a table, gifts for guests at a party, awards for guest and the best ofs, a fun treat in a lunch box, or a cute what to use all your friends nicknames!  Martha did these and you can get them at Michales in the cake section.
The tag itself is made from a Halloween K&Company.  It is 4.5" wide and 6" long folded in half to 3".  I used two punches for the center feature.  EKSuccess did the scalloped circle (Black) and the circle(orange) is from Paper Shapers.  A few pop dots between the two layers and a bit of the hand dyed silk ribbon available at the PBD store--if you have not tried using this crinkle ribbon--run do not walk to the Pink By Design Store and purchase it!!!
Here is a close up of the stamps from the Ghostly Greetings Set.  I use two stamps (one sentiments, and one shape).
Sarah the ower and creater of Pink by Design is giving away one stamp set per blog hop--all you have to do is follow and leave a comment!  The more blogs you hope to the more chances you have to win!!

Thanks for stopping in and now it is time to had to the next stop on the hop!
Next to each name is a link to their blog--click the one next to Elizabeth and you will be there in the blink of an eye.

Simple Halloween Card

After a very eventful flight back to the USA, I am safe and sound in my own place in my own bed and in my own office yet again--for at least the next couple of weeks.
This card was made with PTI paper, PBD silk ribbon, and CTMH stamp (This was August's Stamp of the Month)!
This could be a fun party invite!!!!

ITALY!!!!!! YUMMY

Happy Monday everyone--my trip is coming to a close and I am excited to get home but I have another one of these trips in two weeks back to south east Asia!
So here are a few pics from Florence Italy--I love that city--the food, the leather goods, the art!!!  Did I say the food!
You simply can not just look around you have to look up--the details was amazing!
The inside of the chapel--so peaceful and the lighting was amazing

One of the most amazing buildings I have ever seen--you must walk all the way round to get the entire effect--it is currently under rehab in spots but the amazing detail will simply leave you speechless-
Knock Knock--the doors and the knockers were so beautiful and the lighting (all natural) was so amazing with all the drama and shadows

Makes you wish you had a view like this--the city and the country simply merge-seamless--the mountains were beautiful--just beyond them is an amazing wine region as well!
I found this bust to be one of my all time favs--if you notice there is two different types of marble used--the base is one and the drape is another--the multi colors in the drape really make it look like fabric.  I have to say that the eyes are a bit spooky when they are not finished-sort of empty.  The detail of the hair was really cool as well--to imagine the time and skill.

Where in the World.....Paris

Hello all from across the big pond.  I was in Paris on Sunday and it was a bit rainy but I still had a good time with a co worker of mine.  We not only shopped for work--we were able to hit a local market and watch a breast cancer run as it passed near the tower.
Here are just a few pics--more to come but these were some of my fav things that came my way while in Paris.
Here is a band playing for the runners--I love how happy they look to be playing in the rain.  I really thought the hats were a hoot!
I know this one is a bit off putting but I thought it was a sight to remember.  There were just a ton of fish heads on ice--got to love fish head soup.  BTW they were selling like hot cakes!

Not one of my fav flowers but the colors were beautiful!!!!!!

Orange is my signiture color!  I saw these and wanted to buy them but thought, "what the heck are you going to do with orange roses in Paris?"
The picture looks pink but these were this amazing shade of purple that I swear I have never seen and will search high and low for these in Dallas!!!
So just a few photos from Prais--Italy is next!!!
Make it a great one

Greetings from India

Hello everyone. I am in Delhi India and headed to Paris early this morning. It is about 2am and I have just been able to connect to the Internet due to some storms here on Delhi. Rare that it rains all day here but yesterday it was a down pour. Lots of water and lots of dirt equals lots of mud! I
Can't wait to get to Paris will share some pics later this weekend!
Make it a great one
