Scrap Card monday using Close to My Heart Wings Collection

Happy Happy Monday--I am in NYC this week market week and will be here till next Saturday morning.  I am so excited about the new Close to My Heart collections--The paper is BEAUTIFUL--the Stamps are AMAZING--what does this mean for me--I am going to be BROKE!!!
Info for the next club goes out this week!!! Idea books and last months order is going to be waiting for me when I get home!
I have a super easy card today using scraps from the projects form last week and the Stamp of the Month set for January

I used a fiskers edge punch for the bracket shaped borders and some satin ribbon and colored twine (you can color natural twine with your ink pad if you don't mind getting a little ink on your fingers!)  I made the ribbon explosion with four pcs of ribbon folded at the half and than attached using my Tim Holtz tiny attacher (every scrapper must have one of these--if you don't run, don't walk, to the store and pick on up!!!)  I think the button is from Melody Ross--but it has a nice refined vintage feel to it.
This stamp is from the Stamp of the month set--which I think is one of my most fav sets ever!!  I used versa mark ink and clear embossing powder and you see the results.  I also used the same stamp and technique on the envelope--I really like the look on the black card!
Make it a great one-
