Question for you--the blog fo

Well we have reached Hump day and I am knee deep in development for work and a sales meeting, and did I say I was re doing my office and my new sofa needs to get there quick cause days like this make me want to take a nap at lunch and I need a place to lay down--LOL!

Ok so last week I introduced the Fun Fold Friday, and I know you all want more layouts and GUY projects, but what else do you all want--can't say I can do everything but I am looking for another feature to add to the blog line up.  I like a good challenge so I was thinking a Scrapguy Smack Down.  Where you all send in a Challenger for me and I make a project to answer you need, challenge, or offer up ideas to help you in your crafting.  What do you all think?  What would your challenge be?

I also wanted to share these previews I found of the New October Afternoon paper collections--found these on stopandscrap.com (one of my fav sites on the web and a place I spend a lot of money!)
I love me some OA--

They will be available for pre-order soon-
I am looking forward to reading what you have in mind--make it a great one!

  3. Since you're such an embossing pro, I'd love to see some embossing techniques/tutorials. I got a machine for Christmas and would love to find more ways to use it.

  4. Love the Fun Fold Friday addition new folds are always exciting to me. Would also love to learn the best color schemes or how you choose your papers, always have problem with this on LO and cards. I tend to use more solids because I'm not quite sure how to incorporate the pattern papers into my design.

  6. I really like the Fun Fold Fridays! Maybe the Smack Down could be interactive, where you make the challenge (and show what you made) and then we follow through and link it up!

  8. I hear you about wanting a nap. It seems I want longer and/or more frequent ones more and more each day too.. LOL. I like the challenge idea. Maybe your followers could give you a color combo, or embellishment idea and you could come up with a layout or card using them? Or vice versa and your followers could link up their ideas using your color combo etc? I really like what you do already. You keep the blog moving with something great everyday.

  19. Love that Woodland Park collection! So funky and fun! The smackdown challenge sounds cool. I can't think of any challenges right now but I second what Jes says, I'd love more videos or pictorial tutorials. Could be something small like how you did the score and sand technique to put the background stripes on the card you shared earlier. Or maybe how to use a distressing tool. That would be awesome!

I have been thinking of getting one of these machines but I have not seen it used much except by you and would love to see a video or post about how it works and some of what you do with it. This would help me make up my mind on purchasing one. THanks
