Salute to my brother

This is my brother, whom I am very proud of.  I was not able to be there with the rest of my family but my sister posted this pic on facebook.  I will be headed home (Kansas City) on Thursday to spend a long weekend with my family.  I find it fitting that he was able to spend this holiday at home after being overseas--not only do we need to keep those brave men and women who serve our country but their children who grow so fast and they miss so much, their spouses who love them and long for their return, and their families who pray for their safe return.
A child face does not hide the happiness they feel--and to see the smile on those little faces is worth a million dollars.  For the short time he is home---family will be a focus.  The stay is much to short but a blessing non the less.

God Bless America and all those who serve!
