Clear & Simple Stamps

Clear and Simple Stamps is a very cool new clear stamp company based in Gaithersburg Maryland. The company was started as a collaborative effort by a mother-daughter team. As they like to say, "We specialize in taking something simple and turning it into something fabulous!" That they do. Their designs are fresh, fun, and flirty! Fonts, shapes, flirty ladies, and backgrounds are all included in the collection. Not only do they offer a full line of clear stamps and blocks, but have added accessories that perfectly match in color and freshness.
The design team is AMAZING and so nice! I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with a few of the designers and one of the owners, Ewunike Jackson at the CHA show. The projects on display in the booth can also be seen in the gallery on their website. Here are just a few examples that I really liked:

I really love the popcorn and bubblegum sets pictured here

Clear & Simple is also going to have the first iPhone app that is directed at paper crafters! That is right your going to be able to see updates and order product right from your phone. Talk about having creativity at your finger tips!

Today's blog candy is a sampling of products that include a mini stamp set, block, bag of buttons (lots of great shapes), ribbon, a Clear & Simple T-Shirt, and a great little tote bag! Make sure to leave your comment and check out the web site by clicking the link at the top of this post. When you order let them know you heard about them here at scrapguy! I am going to be using these stamps in a demo of another MUST HAVE product on Wednesday so come back and see a new way to add bling to your creations!

Get organized and educated!!!

Happy Monday! Today I am going to feature two great companies. I decided to put them both on one update as I found them through each other! One will educate you and the other will help you get organized. Who doesn't need a little of both?

First you have to get educated!
If you have ever met Megan from Above Rubies Studio, you know how much passion she has for her business and for sharing her knowledge of the Cricut! I had seen the video and now I have met the woman behind it! Cricut A-Z is a must have for any Cricut user. The step by step instructions are great. So many people have said, "I have taken classes at my LLS why do I need this video?" I am going to tell you! With the video and the instruction by Megan, you can sit with YOUR CRICUT in YOUR HOME with YOUR SUPPLIES and learn each function, what it does, how to use it, and pointers on how to get the most out of the machine. You have to visit the website http://www.aboverubiesstudio.com/. Hold on, if you have the GYPSY, you are going to want to bookmark the site, sign up for the emails, and get ready for some education there as well!
Megan also has a DOWN LOADABLE cut guide with more than 450 cuts listed out! This cut guide is a MUST HAVE for any Cricut user. The guide lists the paper company and line as well as the blade depth, speed, and pressure you need to set your machine at to get a clean cut every time!!! I use mine all the time--and it's free!
Now organize with ScrapCessories (http://scrapcessories.com)
Daphne Shreiber the CEO and creator saw a need and developed a product that is multi functional, easy to use, and priced right. The storage solution is based around the box where you can add different inserts to fit your storage needs. I have one for my solutions and mini cartridges as well as one for my stickles and ink refills.
The lids come in different colors so you can have a little style in your organizations as well. They stack on top of each other and can be connected with a strap sold separately so you can carry all you need to a crop or swarm! Once you check out this brief video of how ScrapCessories works you will want to make it your storage solution as well. Check out their website for where ScrapCessories is currently carried and if they don't have it at your LSS--tell them about it. I was able to meet and speak with Daphne at CHA this past weekend and there are more storage solutions on their way.

NOW ON TO THE BLOG CANDY!
Today I am giving away a bottle caddy from ScrapCessories. Once you get this you will wonder what you did with out it! Make sure to leave a comment on today's post for your chance to win! All comments will be entered for the grand prize and winners will be posted all at once since this is CHA BLOG CANDY WEEK! Comment each day for your chance to win. Become a follower and be one of the first to find out what's going on, see new projects, and know of future blog candy giveaways! (one entry per person per day)

Have a great day!

Home sweet home!!! After a wild and crazy weekend at the CHA Craft SuperShow--I am home in Dallas--tired but inspired!!! The show was smaller than I thought it was going to be but that did not stop me from finding some AMAZING new things (at least new to me). I went with one 34 pound suitcase and came home with a 55 pound suit case, a 34 pound duffel bag my original carry one and a fairly large bag of things that would simply no fit!
I met some wonderful ladies from the Cricut Message Board and a few 'celebrities' to all of us scrappers and card makers, made a few new friends (joy, Melanie, Tammy, PJ {lol}, Megan), and had more fun than I really should have packed into two days! SO...........................to let you all who were not able to go this weekend, I am going to share some of the cool products and awesome new companies. I will demo where possible with videos and will make sure you have all the info you need to go find the products for yourself is you like them (and I have a feeling you all are going to REALLY like them)

That's not all--there will be blog candy every day this week! THAT'S RIGHT---EVERYDAY THIS WEEK!!!!!

There is going to be one grand prize drawn at random on Saturday from all the comments posted this week. The prize will have some of the products from this week and a few other surprises--I will post a picture of the grand prize on Monday here on the blog so make sure you come back.

For each Feature there will be a small give away so someone else can see how cool these products are up close and personal. Again, to win the daily blog candy all you have to do is leave a comment. All prizes will be announced at one time a week from today--in total there will be 6 blog candies this week. You don't have to be a follower but I would really appreciate it if you did! I have some really cool projects coming up and I will do my best to not disappoint!
Can't wait to share!!!
