Super easy gift wrap Idea

All you need is a half a sheet of 12x12 pattern paper, a clear pail from Michael's (2.00), and a hot glue gun!  Simple right.  I also crimped the paper before I put it in the pale to give some added depth--
I am using these as stockings for my nieces and nephew

Treat bags revisited using Cricut Gingerbread Seasonal Cartridge

Here is another way of doing a treat bag these are perfect to be filled with puzzle or activity books, card games, etc and give to the kids at the family functions--gives them something to do!

I also added a little holiday notebook and a Pezz!  Most of the items came from the dollar section at Target.
The cut is from the Gingerbread Seasonal Cartridge (i used it on a card last week)  but the top layer in glitter paper (multi cut 2 or use deep cut blade)  I punched the name tag using a fiskers multi punch and wrote the name of the person to recve it on that--like a real present

Treat Bag Tuesday using Cricut Gingerbread Seasonal Cartridge

Today I have some treat bags to share--these were in place of Christmas Cards for my co-workers.  I passed them out on Monday and they were a big hit!

Scrap Card Monday using Cricut Gingerbread Seasonal Cartridge

Ok it is really here--Christmas is this week and I am so glad I finished my holiday crafting this past weekend.  This is a super easy and super fast gift idea--

These are 'chinesse' food containers filled with sweets--they are printed with holiday motifs and they are at Michael's for a buck each--they are heavy plastic and could be used to wrap a number of small gift items. 

I used the Cricut Gingerbread Holiday Mini to make the tags from some scraps of paper in my scrap box.  To tie them to the gifts I used some twill ribbon from CTMH.

I have a quick and easy project each day this week--if you have last minute party favors or class room treats you need to make come back on Tuesday.  I will also share a number of other holiday items everyday this week. 
Just a reminder that next week I will be taking off from blogging--working on new projects and taking some much needed time off work!  This vacation was long overdue!

Friday Funday....A Christmas Card Experment!

Well it's Friday and I can not tell you how glad I am that this week is over.  Boy was this week a trial!  Looking forward to my vacation and some much needed time off.  I will be taking from next Wednesday till after the 1st of January off as we are all busy I will start the new year off with a ton of great new fresh projects!!!!!!!
So I thought I would try an color experiment today--here is what came out:

Sometimes a color experiment is great other, not so great!  I think the pearls and bling on the inside are nice and I love this CTMH stamp!  Of course I did come cuttlebugging--this spurred on a number of ideas so watch for some refined options on this sort of look in the new year.

Tonal Cristmas Card using Cricut Snowflake Mini and Anna Griffin

Well we have reached the halfway point and what a week it has been!  I wanted to take a different approach to Christmas cards using non-traditional colors and a tonal look.  Here is what I came up with

The pattern paper is from Anna Griffin, the golden metallic paper is DCWV, ribbon SU, Stamp is CTMH as are the pearls. I cut the snowflake in the same color and sent the base through the cuttlebug using the polka dots folder to add a bit of depth.

I love these pearls!!!!   I did finish off the inside and the envelope with a little embossing!

Scrapcard Monday using Paper Trey Ink Tree Die

It's Monday and I am actually going to be in my office--not sure I remember what my staff looks like---LOL!  I had some scraps of light bulb paper and found some strung lights in my Christmas box and thought I've got it.....and this is what I had

The tree is felt and was cut using a Paper Trey Ink die--if you have not tried them--they are a must have--esp the fillable frames--the stamp sets and the die are only $5.00 each so you get both for a 10 spot.  You will want all of them so ask for them in your stocking! 

Just a close up for you.  The stamp is from CTMH--and you better hurry as there is a new idea book in February and all new stuff to enjoy! 

The inside is simple--layered up some solid and textured cardstock and finished the sentiment on the inside. 

For the envelope--I cut another tree, but only used half and inked the edges of the tree and the envelope with forest green chalk ink.  I had to do some creative placement of the die to make the most of my scrap--and let me tell you it was a scrap!!!
