Retail Therapy

So after my debit card issue this past week, I needed some retail therapy.  Since I have wanted to get one more Cricut Lite Cartridge that I have been wanting and came HIGHLY recommended by to Paper Crafting Pros--Melanie and Joy.  I broke down and got it--so Lacey Labels is now part of my collection.  I think I am going to start a book for a friend who is having a baby with this cartridge and Nursery Rhymes--I am over flowing with ideas.
I also got the new cuttlebug polka dot 5X7 folder--I love the fact you can do a photo mat and still see the texture--if you like swiss dots this one will be next in your line of favs.  I will be using this folder a lot in this baby book.  Speaking of Baby Book--I got almost all of the patterned paper for this book for less than $5 dollars.  I happened upon a clearance section in one of the craft stores and low and behold it was over flowing with girly colored paper--since they are having a girl I thought this was simply fate.
Hope you all are having a great weekend!
See you Monday morning with a new project!

  4. I too want that cartridge...especially when it is being praised by Joy and Melanie! And the 5x7 folder is great. Funny that you are going to do an album using Nursery Rhymes because I have been thinking of ideas to do the same thing! I'll be anxious to see what you come up with.

  5. I have held off buying one of the Lite carts until I figure which are a must have. Which one or two are your favs? Remember to limit it to one or two. ; )

  7. I'm looking forward to your baby creation. Love what you did for the twins. Several blogs are saying the Lite Cart prices will come down if we wait, so that's what my wallet is telling me to do.

  8. Ohhh, Lacy Labels is on my wish list! Wish I would have picked up that one first, but DH bought my first cartridge and he really liked the images on WildLife, so that's what we got. Love the large polka dot folder! I make alot of 5 x 7 cards and that would really be helpful for a background.

  12. Lacy Labels is first on my Lite wish list. Would you believe that none of the local Walmart in my area carry the Lite cartridges. They don't have any!!! It is a sin!!! I guess I will have to wait till they have on Walmart.com and do a site to store request. I think it is terrible that none of the store here have any Lite cartridges. It's unfair!!! It should be against the Law! on and on......

  14. Bryan,

You bloggers make it so hard to resist the new Cricut cartridges, but nonetheless, I can't wait to see what you make with it!!! Lacy Labels is seriously my favorite of all the Cricut Lites!

I can't wait to see your baby book...I've started one for the twins (although with the big move, I don't think I'll have it done in time for the shower). Where'd you find the girly paper? I spent a lot more than that for baby girl & baby boy stacks.

Oh, yeah! Where'd you find the Cuttlebug embossing folder? Joann's doesn't have a great selection, so I usually buy mine on ebay or at ohmycrafts.com.
