"Happy Holidays" Card using Cricut Cake Holidays Cartridge

We we have made it to Humpday!!! Still in Greensboro for the next couple of days and boy oh boy is it cold--18 this morning with a high of 32--this is why I live in Texas!!!
Today I have another Kraft creation--there are a couple of different Kraft collections out there--this on is simple (red, green, Kraft) so it is easy to match them up and make a few cards at once.  I have to say Jillybean Soup has a very cute holiday collection that is Kraft with color!  I have it! (LOL)
This card was easy as pie!  For the front I used two different Sizzix folders in my Cuttlebug--I simply love the one with all of the ornaments! By using some cordinations paper you get a nice high low effect as well.
For the sentiment I cut it with my expression at 2 1/4" inches.  It cut well because it is very blocky--I used patterned craft for the shadow and solid red for the layer.  I pulled out the xyron again, added sticky, and then used micro glass beads to add the bling!  I love this technique--it is easy, simple, and clean.
I used the same patterned craft, a little chalk ink, and come colonial white cardstock from CTMH to finish off the inside.
If you do the outside and the inside of the card--why not the envelope as well.  I am on this kick where I like to finish it all off.  Nothing wrong with a plain envelope but I like the drama of it all!
I used one of the same Sizzix folders and put the whole envelope inside to do the embossing.  A large tag punch, the October CTMH stamp of the month set was used for the to/from, and a little sei twisted cord finishes it off (note on the twisted cord--don't cut it, burn it so it does not untwist--I learned the hard way!)
Hope you have a great day and that you are not chilled to the bone like I am!
Make it a great one-
