It's Friday---and I am home--so excited to have a nice weekend at home! Today's card was super simple and so fun to make. I saw this stamp set and die on Paper Trey Ink and just loved it.
All stamps are PTI as is the frog die. The oval die is a nestabilities and my paper and bling were just bits I had in my scrap bin.
For my sentiment I first stamped it right on the card front--of course it was wonky so my solution was to cut this oval and stamp again--by adding the bling it just adds a bit of flair.
The frog and pad are one die but I cut it twice--I just love how the stamp just fits the die cut so it looks like you bought it at the store. I also like to stamp things like this on pattern paper which just adds a bit of pop.
Do you not just love the flight line and tiny fly!!! I think it is my fav part of this stamp set.
If you have not checked out Paper Trey Ink--you should!
Have a great weekend-

Another Damask Decor and Winner..................
What a week this has been! BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!
I threw this card together while I was doing laundry for yet another business trip--this time to the Big Apple!
Paper is Basic Grey, Stamp is CTMH, and I used PTI edgers--these are two of the best colors and they go with every project!!!!!!
Here is a close up view of the layers and the inking. I used some foam mounting tape to add levels to the center and then under the whole damask to pop off the paper ribbon!
Now for the winner of the Pink By Design Hats Off Stamp set:

I love simple cards. They are like a whisper that can be heard anywhere! Give your brother my thanks for his service to our Country. We all are indebted to him.

Thank you with Pink By Design Our Troops Stamp set and BLOG CANDY...................
Happy Monday everyone--since Blogger was jacked up on Friday and I usually take the weekends off here is my project from last weeks Pink By Design Team Friday. Our challenge was to do something for the troops--so I made this!
I used a premade card base and some great (yet simple) K&Company Americana Paper. My brother is over seas now and will be coming home the first week of June for a couple of weeks and we will be having a family vacation in Branson--yes Branson! (said in disbelief as this is not my idea of a great vacation spot)
When my brother got his orders the whole idea of the armed services changed for me and I can not hear the national anthem without getting might misty eyed. I am so proud of him and all of those that serve to keep our country safe and FREE!
I cut three equal strips of paper and inked the edges with my trusty PTI edgers (must haves)! I added the sentiment from the OUR TROOPS Pink by Design stamp set.
The perfect sentiment for those that are in service to our country!
OK--so I have been crazy with work and travel and forgot that Sarah was nice enough to allow me to give away a stamp set--so one lucky winner will be getting the HATS OFF set that will be perfect for all your graduation cards and layouts--just leave a comment on this post and the winner will be announced on Wednesday Morning!

Cricut Damak Decor my new go to cartridge!
Hello all--coming to you from San Fran today. First off I would like let my early readers know there was a connection issue at the hotel and that is why I was unable to get you your morning reading!
So during the E2 launch which of course I watched and got little sleep--I ordered a couple of cartridges and Damask Decor was one of them. I have to admit I was not 100% sold on this one but when I got it home and opened the box, it quickly moved to the top of my most used list.
The tag and card feature are great. This is damask 4 card and tag cut at 5"
You are going to love using this cartridge for those last minute gift and cards--in less than 5 minutes I had both of these done!!!!!! Talk about easy!
Here is the tag--I used some K and Company paper and a sheet of solid card stock and a bit of grey ribbon for the tie--it took me more time to apply the Scotch Quick Dry glue then it did to cut it out!
And the card--how simple--there is about a 2" space that I covered with a bit of card stock and the same grey ribbon I used in the tag. You could also stamp, emboss, cut another sentiment and put it in this space. There is also an envelope feature on the cartridge--think about the simple yet beautiful gifts of note cards you can make with this cartridge. I am going to start my Christmas Crafts now!
Come back on Friday for the Pink By Design Team Friday--I have a simple card for the troops and a give away (that I forgot to do a week ago)!
Make it a great one-

Cup of Joe? using Pink By Design Stamps and blog candy winner
Good Monday Morning! Let's get started with a cup of coffee! This fun card was made with the Pink By Design Perk Up Stamp Set. There is also a full background stamp and a full sentiment set all available on Sarah's website (to shop click here)
The Coffee cut was done with the From My Kitchen Cricut Cartridge and the colors for this card were taken from my fav place to get a cup-Starbucks!
I stamped the cup and in deep green and the lid in brown, than added the coffee in white craft ink!
Here is a close up! I also pop dotted the lids on each to give a bit of a 3D effect
I pulled out the handy white signo pen for a little doodling
Here is the back of the card--I added a couple of the cups and a fun journal block for a great note. This notebook background stamp is also one from the most recent Pink By Design release---I used my crop-a-dile hole punch and my snips to make it look like it was torn out of a notebook!
Here is the envelope--love how this finishes it off. What a great card for a thank you or birthday of a coffee lover.
OK---sorry for the delay in the announcement of the blog candy winner--

Sarah the Pink Cricuts Super Secret Suprise Birthday Blog Hop
Happy Birthday Sarah! In celebration of Sarah's birthday we have planned a Super Secret Surprise Birthday Blog Hop! Say that 7 times while spinning in a circle.
Since Sarah's fav things include zebra and pink I thought this was very fitting
I simply love this cricut cut and the colors are so much fun!
I used the Pink By Design Zebra background stamp and layered up the cake with foam squares. I punched a border from the metallic paper to run along the left side to tie in the pink.
The cake layers were cut and assembled with foam squares and 3m quick dry glue. I sent the 'icing' accents through the zyron upside down and added clear and hot pink micro beads (sprinkles) to give it some bling and a cupcake kind of feel.
For the far side of the card I made a birthday badge--inking the edges and using a Pink By Design Stamp set called Oh Boy! (one of my all time favs). I found this zebra ribbon at Michael's--perfect for this card.
The blog candy I am offering is one of the great Close to My Heart books that I love to use and own all of them. You will love it cause if you are ever at a lack of creativity or out of ideas--this will be a go to guide!!! Winner will be announced on Saturday!

More Sneak Peeks with Pink By Design
So sorry nothing was posted on Tuesday--on a business trip and it is a crap shoot when it comes to time no matter what I plan it is always a moving target. So today I have two!!!!
Sneak Peek Number 1
This set has a ton of great sentiments to go with all of those animated characters we all love but hate to cute on the cricut because of all the small bits! That is why you have an Imagine! In all honesty this one was pretty easy off of Pooh and Friends--key to the cut is make it as big as you can size does matter when it comes to these cricut cuts. The are some great sentiments to go with all of the Magic Kingdom original characters!!!! This set is going to be a lot of fun
Sneak Peek Number 2:
This set is all about coffee--shapes and a couple of essential sentiments--this perk up is so cute.
The cricut cut is from the kitchen cartridge and the paper is Basic Grey!
I love the steam stamp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used three different coffee beans for this pattern that I also used on the inside of the card.
You got to remember the inside of the card--and here I used the same coffee beans from the front and created my own border stamp! This set is so cute and if you check out some of the other peaks you will also find a coffee background and a whole set of sentiments!! Three must have sets!!!!
Check out the Pink Cricut and the other talented design team members cause their projects are super cute as well--and don't forget the release on the 5th!!!!
