July's Calendar using Cricut Independence Day, Cindy Loo, and Going Places

Well it's Monday, I am off for the 4th and still sick.  I have been coughing for days--got some good meds but this cough is killing me.  I have to admit I did not get as much scraping done as I wanted part due to being sick--and the other part I am going to blame Prove Craft as there is still NO GYPSY update for the Cricut Lites--really.  I am not going to vent but it is highly annoying I have 7 of them!  I am hoping the update will be up and going this week.
On to the Calendar--
I used Cindy Loo for the word 'July', going places for the city scape, and Independence Day for Lady Liberty
I sent the letters through the Xyron and added some silver glitter.  I also used one of my favorite finds of all time--Stamp-N-Foil.  I think it really makes the fire works sparkle over the NYC skyline.
I do hope you all had a great weekend and a wonderful 4th of July!

  2. This is a great calendar even though I can't use it in my class (since we are out for the summer). I am going to use the idea and create one for August or September with a different theme. THANKS!

  6. Get well soon! I am amazed that you can even scrap while sick. I had a miserable summer cold and did almost nothing (other than go to work) for over a week. You must be superman!

  8. Love this. Do you like the xyron better for the glitter than glue? I thought that it didn't give me enough glitter. Stamp and foil never heard of that will have to look for it
    Great job
    thanks

  18. Bryan,

I love your calendar!!! :) I was trying not to spend on Independence Day (I already have Stand and Salute, which is similar), but it's becoming harder to resist. I also have to find the time to research Stamp'n'Foil...I love learning about new products & techniques.

I'm bummed that you've been so sick! Hope the worst is behind & that you recover quickly! :)

Thank you so much for sharing,

    Jennifer
