Twins Baby Shower Thank You using Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls and Nursery Rhymes

So today I am back with part 2 of the Twins Baby Shower with a Thank You and a shower game that easily turns into a gift for the mother to be!
Let's start with the Thank You card.  The video walks you step by step through the card making process!

Some detail shots:

So every shower needs a game--and since the mother to be did not have a theme--I thought I would just give her one--Nursery Rhymes--I am not stretching here--because yesterday I showed plates and napkins that had polka dots and nursery rhymes--and what better cartridge to use than Cricut Nursery Rhymes!
So here is what you do-
First each guest needs to bring a 4x6 or a 5x7 frame--a FUN frame something other than a plane basic frame (Ross and TJMaxx are great places to look).

Secondly make a number of Nusery Rhyme cuts (one for each guest) and have them ready to pop into the frams at the party.

For this cut I used glass beads to add some bling to the cut and I embossed the back ground with the large polka dot embossing folder.

Lastly play two games Guess the Nusery Rhymes is one and What are the words is the second--you can have prizes for the winners but the frames all go home with the mommy to be!  As pictures are put in the cuts also can be used for a scrapbook!
I hope you likeed the card and the gift/game---I just love the fact that the mommy get to keep the frames because every new mommy and all newly weds can always use frames!
Remember to make it a great one-

  3. The thank you cards are adorable. And the game idea is absolutely brilliant! I will use that idea for some fun gifts for my son and daughter-in-law, who are expecting their first child (a daughter, who will be my third grandchild) in about two weeks.

  6. For someone who doesn't have any kids you are sure having fun with this aren't you. Great thank you card and game idea. I do not like games at showers but this is one that even I would like. If I ever have to host a baby shower I am so stealing these ideas.
